Sitting in my car waiting for my boys at soccer practice.  THIS…IS…MY…LIFE.  So boring.

My view…

Each boy had an hour practice.  I’d like to say that while one was practicing that I had great mom/son time with the other.  Roo studied Spanish (he wouldn’t let me help/quiz him).  And, Brucee watched a movie (with headphones on).  He wouldn’t let me watch it with him.  Punks, seriously!

Today was a cruddy day outside.  And to top it off, my back’s been messed up since Saturday.  I must have strained my lower back muscle (self diagnosed) so I wasn’t in the mood to run today.

One of my kids must have stepped on a crack.  They’re out to get me, I just know it.

Today, I wore a favorite Billabong shirt and some AE jeans. Comfortable considering my achin’ back.

Since Mick didn’t have a fit about my new purchase, I got my new Keurig out and set it up on our counter.

I filled it full of water and admired it.  I’m not ready to make a drink yet.  I thought if I wanted to use it I could just brew/heat water (and then pour back in the reservoir).  I would have made a coffee drink but the coffee I drank this morning made my stomach angry.  I didn’t want to see what would have happened if a dared a second cup.  I tried the Almond Joy creamer this morning.  Very good.  Probably full of sugar so I won’t do that again.

I didn’t get the French press because it would limit me to what I could make.  Having a Keurig, I can make coffee, chai tea, hot tea, hot chocolate, hot apple cider.  It’s endless, yeah?  The whole damn fam can enjoy.  If I end up loving coffee, I could always get a French Press for my desk at work.  Another fellow did that in my department.

Here’s the leftover booze from Friday’s party…

I’m a slob.  I needed to take care of it.  Today was the day.

The Spiked Tea sucked ass and I’ll be giving that away.  I’m not sure who to.  I can’t give it away at work because that wouldn’t look right.  Maybe I can hand out in town on the street corner?!  Don’t worry, I’ll card people first.

Oh my gosh.  Thanksgiving’s almost here.  I cannot wait.  Two of my most favorite things are eating and being with family.  You shouldn’t eat your family so I keep them separate.  However, when my kids were little, I liked to say to them, “I’m so hungry I could eat you”.  Thanksgiving satisfies both my need to chow and my need to hang with my family.  Shopping’s a favorite too.  I have that Friday off so I can start shopping TG night if I’d like.  We’ll see what my momma says.  She’s the boss.

I really need to lay off the shopping because it’s almost time for our annual one day bus trip to Chicago.  Today, I received my first email about the trip from Robin, the organizer.  I get so excited when I see these emails.

We go Friday, December 2nd.  Lots of booze on this trip.  I’m all talk and I won’t drink any (much).  If anything, I may toast with the rest of the ladies with Mimosas.  I’m not sure why some of the ladies drink so much.  Drinking makes me sleepy and I need to extra energy to power walk in Chicago.

The places I will definitely hit are H&M, Zara, and TopShop.  My mom and two sisters are going too so I’ll have to go to their favorites as well.  We leave Michigan at 6:30am in the morning and leave Chicago to come home at 9pm (Chicago time).  The day just zooms by.

Since today sucked, I’m looking forward to tomorrow.  It’s not supposed to rain and temp looks decent (sunny and 58).  I need to run.  I need to eat bugs.  Actually, I don’t need to eat ’em.  I just do because I run with my mouth open.  Not “porn” open but enough that the bugs get in there.  If I had a another nostril, I could run with my mouth shut.  I try not to be a follower but I’m not brave enough to go around with 3 nostrils…

Kuerig was a good pick! I don’t have one but wish I did.

They make a small desk model you could get for your office too!
